Here is a nice question: How many different languages does your country have?
Think about it, how many languages are spoken in your country by more than just a small number of people?
Some countries are multilingual, with more than one official language. In many cases, English, French or any other global language, have been added to create a second/third official language. A good example is India, where there are a Billion people, with many local languages and English serves as the only language everyone know (thank to the colonial history of this mega country).
The benefits of a multilingual country are the same as the benefits of being bilingual or multilingual. You just find many doors open for you and you easily become a true citizen of the world. When countries become multilingual the can expect to see improvement in education, economy, health and even culture.
So, How many different languages does your country have? How many languages people in your country speaks?
